League history was made yet again on Friday night at the Riverside skate park as we held our first ever Grand Final under lights!
We kicked the night off with the 12’s and saw Jack Duff cap of a near flawless series with another win & a second run for the ages whilst little ripper Julian Mansfield claimed 2nd and an ever improving Ben Sweeney clinched 3rd place overall.
Brad Saunders delivered an outrageous second run to seal the win in the 16’s over defending champ Isaak Godfrey whom came in a close 2nd whilst young gun Jay “Terry the Jett” took out 3rd overall after jumping up from 12’s.
The open was full of series new faces & rivers locals who showed off their local knowledge of the park putting on a series showcase like performance that saw veteran Richard Flude claim 1st. Congrats to Micka Edwards for coming in 1st overall but couldn’t make it on the day due to a knee injury! Get well soon pal!
Congratulations to all our series champs and a big thanks to everyone whom was a part of a history makin’ record breakin’ South Eastern Series from the rad competitors who put on a free demo week in week out to our rad volunteers, staff & LGA’s. Ctach ya’ll next season!
