The SV’s principle partneris theVictorian State Government through Sport and Recreation Victoria (SRV).
The SV applies to SRV for grant funding to assist in the development of our programs.
Sport and Recreation Victoria
In collaboration with Sports and Recreation Victoria (SRV), SV will deliver programs, initiatives and events with funding from the “Strengthening Regional Community Sport 2024 to 2027” program by the Victorian Government.
The delivered program will be the “Strengthening and Developing Regional Skateboarding Communities” which will focus on delivering skateboarding programs and projects in regional Victoria.

Victorian Amateur League
The SV recognises the Victorian YMCA as the Victorian Amateur Skateboarding League Series Manager.
The YMCA is sanctioned by the SV to conduct this series.
The YMCA adopts the Policies, Procedures and Regulations for the management of this series.

The SV recognises the following as competent in the delivery of creditable skate related programs.
Australian Skateboard Racing Association (ASRA)
ASRA is recognised by SV as the national sanctioning organisation for downhill racing.
This includes:

- Downhill inline
- Street luge
- Slalom
