Thanks to the generous support of the Manningham City Council’s Community Grants Program, Skateboarding Victoria is excited to offer six (6) Coach and Official Scholarships exclusively for Manningham-based individuals.
This fantastic opportunity is designed to support local skateboarders who are passionate about giving back to their community by developing their skills as accredited coaches or officials.
By becoming an accredited coach, you’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and certification needed to deliver programs, clinics, and events safely and confidently helping to build a vibrant, inclusive, and dynamic skateboarding community right here in Manningham.
Successful applicants will receive funding, training, and mentoring to start or advance their journey as a coach or official, creating stronger, safer, and more exciting skateboarding opportunities for everyone.
How to Get Involved
Eligibility
- You must live in the Manningham City Council area.
- You must have a passion for skateboarding and a commitment to developing your coaching or officiating skills.
Complete the Expression of Interest (EOI)
- Your skateboarding experience and interest in coaching or officiating.
- How you would use the scholarship to benefit the local community.
- Any relevant experience or qualifications (if applicable).

Shortlisting and Interviews
Our panel will review all applications, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for a brief chat to discuss their goals and aspirations.
