On Sunday we ventured down the ye ol Calder Freeway to Bendigo’s popular Eaglehawk Skate Park for the 2nd last heat of the 2014 series! As anticipated this was the largest heat competitor wise this series!
This heat delivered some of the best skating in the LMHS short but illustrious history with more than 20 competitors in the open heats alone. David McDonald just pipped Wallan NWS heat winner Josh Hodge at the post taking out the open heats as well as Best Trick with his F/S Smith on the Block to Tail Smash (Check the sequence below) The open skate scoreboard is now as tight as ever heading into the final heat with the top 5 all accumulating more than 100 points and only 2 points separating James Morrow & Matt “Rocket” Eade!
