With Victoria’s best, and interstate and international skaters, the 2016 Vic Bowl Championships event was a great success.
As part of VSA’s commitment to building a development pathway for the sport, King of Concrete was classed as the Victorian Championship because it provided WildCard entry to the world’s premier bowl competition Bowl-a-Rama at Bondi.
Well done to our Victorian reps at Bowl-a-Rama:
– R.J Barbaro (Vic Champ)
– Billy Abrahams (VIC Champ)
– Zepp Heyes
– Zac Callahan
– Jake Pucar
The event was delivered by Renton Millar of the Australian Skateboard Federation and Shredability, who we must also thank for securing the wild-card entries to Bowl-a-Rama.
Renton was assisted by judges, Nick Kilderry, John Bogaerts, Jamie Kennedy, and Tom Flaherty, as well as volunteers from the MOSS team, who helped out with drinks and logistics.
Thanks to Sponsors, Sony, Independent, City of Dandenong and Shredability.
Thanks to the parents who put in the effort to support their kids (and for getting most of them their 1st skatey!)
Thanks to the Photographers who bring it to to us who could not be there
and
Thanks to all of skaters, some of who travelled great distances, to step it up and skate like demons!
That was a great day!
